Jan and Tom's Wedding

Today marked the fourth wedding in D Gang history! This 7th of Septmber 2008, Jan Leslie Sy wed Tom Sing. You know the saying, "Sa pagkahaba-haba ng prusisyon, sa simbahan din tutuloy" (which roughly translates to, "After all that's happened, things eventually work out in the end" or to put in the context of relationships, "Despite the hardships, somehow, you still end up together.") I think that one applies rather nicely to Jan and Tom's story.

Because of the fab fab day I spent at work, I missed seeing Jan walking down the aisle. Poohoo. I really wanted to see Jan! I saw the pics though at the reception, and she was just radiant!

The Sy family proposed a toast. Both Jan's brothers gave speeches. Brother Epi did the "I'm watching you gesture" (directed at Tom) when he gave this speech in Chinese.




The couple graciously thanked everyone who helped them.



And they shared a kiss (one of many) of course!



The Chuas (Winston and Ave) just got back from their honeymoon in Vancouver and the US. They brought their trusty bicycles along with them. These two are in tip top shape!



It was nice to be with everyone again. The Panganibans (Mike and Pia). And Marian and Boom.




We strategized how we could have our group pic with the very in demand bride! We inched our way to the dance floor and positioned ourselves! Haha. Jan's gown was really pretty! And she was just glowing. Oh happy day for Jan Sy, now Jan Sing! Tom was just all smiles himself.
