Suzie and Paolo's Wedding

Today was a very special day for two of my special, special friends, Paolo and Suzie! Now, Mr. and Mrs. Dela Rama! They officially got married today. Because of work, I wasn't able to attend the ceremony at the San Juan City Hall. I went straight to the reception at Cafe Puccini (Fort Strip).

Here are the newly weds! I totally regret not going to the ceremony :( Someone shed a tear! Haha. Super sweet.

I've known Paolo and Suzie for quite a bit. Paolo I met back in college. Bianca introduced us when we were freshies. I recall one evening when we just hung out at Paolo and Reggie's condo behind McDonald's. Paolo and I became friends in Dow, our first project in ACN. Suzie, I met at ACN. She was this short-haired bubbly girl from the SDN team. Kindered Kulasa spirits, I believe, drew us to each other. When I met Suzie, she and Paolo weren't even a couple yet!

Their love story is my ideal love story. Started off as friends. Haha. Everyone knows that about me. I'm a sucker for the "friends who become more than friends" story. Pao and Suzie complement each other very well. And they're really sweet, especially when they think no one is looking.

Suzie wore this really pretty white dress! Very chic. Very Greek!

A couple of kids in the reception. Samantha's Suzie's niece. She's super pretty! This girl has the makings of a kikay girl. She loves the camera and the camera loves her!

After dinner, Paolo, Suzie, and I had coffee and great interesting conversations at Gourdo's. We talked about the cartoons we saw as kids, the Transformers, basketball, video games, old friends, future plans... I know these guys will be my friends for life. Paolo is my voice of reason. Haha. Suzie is a ray of sunshine. She and I are very much alike. I'm just really happy to see them together. They're one of the few couples whose relationship I've been a personal witness to. Just like Ivan and Daisy! Made in Dow! Haha! Next on our to do list... planning for their church wedding!

Congratulations, Suzie and Paolo! As cheesy as this sounds, I love you guys!
