Backlog Blog... Nov 14

While I'm blogging, I'm listening to this new CD I bought... Fragmented by Up Dharma Down. They are pretty awesome! The CDs have been sold out in Tower Records, and I was pretty lucky to find a copy in O.

Back to the grindstone today. The weekend was indeed currrraazy! The wedding last Saturday was a success. Wala namang major aberya. The guests and the couple enjoyed the wedding, despite technical difficulties (I miss you Bibay!). I put my talk show host talents to good use by filling in some of the lulls while we were waiting for the techie guys to figure out how to play the deng VCD.

I was still able to muster the energy to go to Teng's beeday party in Tahanan right after the wedding. 'Course, Macky was there, and some of Maan's Tahanan friends. P.I. and Mama Mee I (Karina) were there. We saw each other last Friday in Starbucks BF! We were just laughing at asses off while taking crazy pics on MacMac II's Photo Booth. Anyway, back to Saturday… Then I was off to Rommel’s party (by force because the guys ran out of beer). I spoke with Trina and Derek, Rommel’s friends, about their wedding next year. Great concept!

Sunday, had lunch at Omakase and then drove to Tagaytay for the Accenture STL seminar, which I must say I really enjoyed! We met a couple fellow STLs, Level Cs, Senior Specialists… Hehe. As I was telling Keyce earlier today, it’s pretty important that the senior execs in the company are admirable and worth looking up to. With our new friends, we went to Starbucks Tagaytay later that Sunday evening. Monday was a full seminar-esque day. I was back at home a little before 8. So I had time to watch Project Runway!

Today was back to work day… A couple of backlog emails here and there. I’ve been a little distracted today. Hangover from Tagaytay I guess? I invited Keysi for dinner in the afternoon. Being the kaladkarin girl that she is (same as moi!), I picked her up in MSE before 6 and we had dinner at Burgoo! Coffee at Gloria Jeans! Then some retail therapy at Zara. Finally bought the green v-neck sweater I’ve been eyeing for months.

Some random thoughts for the day…

The Powerplant, Keysi, Karina, and Zara have truly made some tough days better!! I dunno how I’d survive the crazy weeks without ‘em. They can read me like a book and the laughs are just from the diaphragm! Maan, I wish you were here. JB girls are the bestest.

Ice Ice Buko... may munggo pa sa dulo!
