Serendra Treasures

The familia and I went to Serendra for lunch at Guava. I had to laugh when I found out that Rommel had wolfed down an order of Prichon Wrap before we arrived. Yummy! I unfortunately was not able to take pictures of our masarap na lunch and our dessert (we tried the New York Cheesecake, Decadent Chocolate cake, Mango Cheesecake, Fantasia, and Apple Pie Ala Mode at Miss Desserts). I did however, take pictures of some of my other favorite finds at Serendra.

Along Bonifacio High Street is this hobby shop ( think it's called Hobbes... or is it Landes?). Anyway, they have this one section with really cute small books/cards which contain inspirational quotes. Here are some quotes which appealed to me (for obvious reasons).

Each of the small book of quotes though is P200 a pop. Yikes. So I took pictures of the pages I was interested in.

Okie... on to more of my favorite Serendra things... Cupcakes by Sonja have become extremely popular. The line to get these babies at times could be pretty long. A lot of people think the cupcakes are overpriced. They kinda are. But then, one needs to differentiate a cupcake from a muffin. Cupcakes are small cakes. Haha. I think that sums up why I think P60 per cupcake sounds a little reasonable to me. And well... they're awfully pretty!

We bought six cupcakes for our enjoyment. Rommel, Mr. Freebie, got four for his law school buddies (who we all adore). I immediately texted Kat to tell her about the cupcakes coming their way (just to make sure Rommel was giving it to them. Haha!).

Krispy Kreme has invaded the metro. I heart donuts, I've come to realize. Perfect for breakfast or dessert. Tonton bought two dozens. I think he's giving the other dozen to the Gutierrezes when we come visit later. Yummy... these'll go well with a nice cup of coffee...

So we arrived at home, super stuffed and with a box load of goodies. Treasures from Serendra. Next time, I'll be posting the cute shirts I saw in David and Goliath. I'm still contemplating if the Large sized shirt will fit Rico (I'd like to send him somehting special and Mama and Papa go to New York). But I think it might be small for my growing god-kid. Deng... these kids grow so fast.

Anyway... I'm looking forward to some of the other stores which are opening in Serendra. I'm super happy Conti's opened! pride of Paranaque nga!

i have to agree on your quotes ten! sometimes, making your dream come true seems to be an impossible feat, but if you put your heart in it, stars align and you'll be surprised how things just fall into place :) good luck! keep dreaming!
