L.A.M.O.N.
Lamon day! My lamon buddies, Rni and Keysi took eating to the next level. We headed up north... to Dampa Libis. The original Dampa's in Paranaque, and a lot of "dampa"-esque places have spawned around the metro. Anyway, this Dampa's pretty organized! Keyce and I shopped for squid, shrimps, tuna sashimi, and liempo. Rns got the oysters and mangoes. We couldn't wait to sink our teeth on the food! We had shrimps in butter and garlic, calamares, grilled liempo, baked oysters, and sashimi. Three girls with three huge appetites.
We then took our stuffed selves to Eastwood. We walked around for a while, in a lame-o attempt to burn all the food we ate. What's a trip to Eastwood without sampling Jack Loft's desserts?
I guess walking around did burn some of the stuff we ate and kinda made us want to eat something sweet. We had a slice of New York Cheesecake and a slice of the Decadent chocolate cake. I think we forgot our names for a second back there. They were both awfully good!
Rni needed her something salty to go with our very sweet desserts. Keyce and I watched in disbelief as she called the waiter and asked for the menu. Fifteen minutes later, we were eating garlic mushrooms with our cheesecake. Haha.
We all kind of dressed down. We were slightly amused at the girls and guys who were all dressed up. Most of them were pretty young. Probably college students, rejoicing at the end of another school year. I remember those days when going to Eastwood means picking out a nice dressy blouse and putting some lip gloss on.
The Lamon girls of course just had to laugh and laugh about the most mundane stuff. We recalled the holy weeks of our childhood. And again... the usual food which we ate.
Another Saturday well spent. Haha. In great company and with awesome food.
