Reliving the ERP5 era

Yesterday, the biggest mistake of the evening was not bring a digital camera! Rachie flew in from Shanghai a few days ago, so we had a mini-ERP5 reunion! She called the troops! And we had dinner at Dencio's Metrowalk. Me, Rachie, Kwon Sang Woo (Jun, Rachie's hubby), and Maila shared a sizzling plate of sisig and their Pinasugba platter. Then the star of the show came. Mark O.! Followed by Mr. Epal himself, Pesem!

O.M.G. It's been such a long while since I laughed so hard. We reminisced about our crazy Dow days, the bloopers, and memorable outings. Mark was "namamangka" and was entertaining us from the minute he stepped into Dencios. Our extra loud laughter (when we transfered to Starbucks), made a few serious students transfer seats. Haha.

We talked about the many times we'd have our lunch "listing game". Mark buying food for everyone and forgetting to get something for himself. Mark telling Rachie in his most earnest tone, "Alam ko namang nagkagusto ka sa akin dati." Rachie catching Amery and Richmond's sweet instant messaging exchanges. The drama that was Mackie's love life and how she would immediately stand up from her seat when she'd hear the rustling of plastic ("Ano yan?"). Ivan being "tampo" with Daisy when he dreamt that she was cheating on him. Hahahaha... And the list goes on and on. Haaaaay... Those were great times.

Most of my teammates have moved on. Rachie is in China. Aileen and Mark are both with HP. Mackie, Ivan, Daisy, Aui, and Chae are in the US. Rodel is in Singapore (married and apparently a Daddy!). Aida is in Singapore. Gladys in Bangkok. Maila has transfered industries. Jed left the company a few years ago to return to the academe. Mars, Rap, Zalggy, Amery, Sid, and myself are still here with the Firm. The four years we spent together under the ERP5 roof made some of the harsh work realities more bearable and in a way, worth it.

I wonder when we'll have a grand reunion of sorts!
