Mau's 18th and Manhattan

Last December 23, Maureen Dianne Mina, beautiful sister of my best friend, Maan, celebrated her 18th birthday at the Rockwell Club, New York style! On stage was a backdrop of Times Square.



On the tables were apples with "I (heart) Mau" stickers. The "celebu-tante" looked especially pretty in this chocolate brown gown which was designed and made by Ronaldo Arnaldo of Backstage (Macky's friend, Stan's store)




Mau designed the birthday cake herself!



The Mina family was in full attendance ('cept for Chapman babe, Maan). Mau's friends from CSA, Tahanan, and Assumption made the party come alive by participating in the 18 Streets and the activities planned for the evening. This was no ordinary debut! Song numbers here and there, a couple of skits, and generous helpings of memorable experiences with Mau had everyone in high spirits.



Mau was pleasantly surprised with what her family and friends prepared. She was all smiles almost the entire evening. She grew teary eyed when she caught a glimpse of Maan's video. Maan promises, "When you get to L.A., we're gonna kick it."
