Random Musings in between blowing my nose
I went home early today because I wasn't feeling well. Sniffles and nose blowing the night before. The guys I was talking to over the phone today noticed that I sounded under the weather. Spot on. I actually thought my immunity system's pretty ok, but then it could be there's a flu going around. Or maybe I'm just tired.
Random thoughts...
** Thank heavens for my cousin/interior decorator extraordinaire. Ate Lovely pased by the house today and made a ton of recommendations. Mama just had to be there to listen to all her suggestions. I'm excited about the house now. I hope the architect, contractor, and engineer pull it through. All our requirements. Building a house is quite similar to a software development life cycle. Haha. It's better to involve the Interior Decorator at the beginning of the build process. Lesser time for rework. Requirements need to be defined clearly, and communicated to the right people. At the end of the day, what matters is what the client wants.
** I did get a slight headache from the dust and all the details. Sometimes, I feel like throwing in the towel and saying, "ayaw ko nang maikalam." Haha. Easier that way sometimes. Now we have to select the sink, the modular pantry, multi point heating chorva.. Ugh. But at least I'm excited!
** Choriburger the best. Mama bought me one, upon request.
** Met with Darlyein last night. O.M.G. So much fun. It was just awesome to reminisce about Europe and to catch up. She was telling me that her cousins took her to Metrowalk the evening before. I took them to Serendra, and she said that was more her kind of place (Boni High Street). I've had to define what "Jologs" is to her. Haha. She asked me, "So what socio class do balikbayans fall under?" Haha. Wish Bawani, Maryann and Santhi were with us.
** Thanks to the power of data streaming, I was saw Made of Honor today. Grouchy said it was my movie, and Pesem said he remembered me while watching it because it had scenes in Scotland. It was ... just OK. Patrick Dempsey's a cutie. And I'm a Michelle Monaghan fan. Of the best friend formula movies, my personal favorites remain to be "Some Kind of Wonderful", "When Harry Met Sally", "My Best Friend's Wedding", and "Hot Chick".
