Flushing and Packing

After a long day at work (it took me more than hour to finish our testing status report), Keysi and I spent Friday evening at the Powerplant Mall (which I think is my favorite mall of all). We had dinner at Press and then saw "Flushed Away" (another blog entry upcoming). A couple of years ago, Keysi and I were huge huge fans of Press. When it was still in the Upper Ground level (where Zara is right now). My cousin Sheryl shared the "Press" secret with me, and Keyce and I found a deep, deep love for their Baby Bleu salad. Yummmmm!!! Greens, balsamic vinegar, candied walnuts, grapes, and chunks of bleu cheese... Anyway, when Fully Booked moved to the third level, our hunch was that they changed cooks as well. The food tastes different.

Post movie, we hung out at UCC. All the restaurants close to the sports complex (of sorts), moved to this new area right across the mall. It's pretty. Good Earth Roasts was full as usual.

Our conversations dilly-dallied from work to future plans. It's tough when you have to drag yourself out of bed everyday. When you feel you'll be happier and better doing somethng else. Haaayl... Matatanda na talaga kami.
