Revisiting Diego Luna

I do not know when my trip back to Diego-land began... but I am traversing Luna straits! Mwahaha!

Downright dirty, sometimes looking fresh-out-of-a-doobie-session, and rebellious... Maaan... He is just a hottie. I love his thin lips and his boyish charm. Haha! I think the same can be said about Tobey Maguire and Ewan McGregor (I am sooo loving that dude, too!)

Fantasies for Mr. Luna... Meeting him in the streets of Mexico City, while sharing a cigarette. Then heading off to his coffee shop where we will talk for hours end about movies, life, and our respective third-world-countries. Then we share the sweetest kiss outside the coffee shop... What follows maybe too racy for this G-rated audience!

I've been on mental blogger these past few days. So many posts, but so little time to actually write them down and publish them on the net. I've been thinking about a lot of things lately, as brought about by the ever-changing tides of work, friendships, family, and life.

Work has not been fulfilling these past few... years? Hehe. Sounds pretty harsh. These past few months is more like it. The changing nature of the IT industry has driven the new direction our company is headed for. From a few hundreds to thousands... Once the elite, now a sea of unfamiliar faces. They've been trying to tell us that the culture has not changed, and I sooo beg to differ. People and history determine the culture. History has now become a sad reminder of how things used to be, the good people who once defined greatness, have defined "11% attrition rate." The values the captains of this so-called ship carry right now, are not in agreement with my own. At the end of the day, we are not people, but chargeable numbers, contributing to the big profit pie.

My personal life has been riding the steady wave for the past... oh, 2 years. Haha! I've been crush-free, sans-love-problem for 24 months! Like I've taken a sabbatical from Cupid's radar. Everyone else's love lives have been flourishing all around me, though. Our trusty household helper just recently exchanged "I Do"s with a man who she has known for a long time, but has been her boyfriend, only just recently. My very good Uh_huh2004 friend has been basking under the adoration and doting eyes of a certain officemate. From being choice-less, she now faces the bigger question, "Do I want to take this to the next level?" Another college friend was most recently introduced to this guy who resembles Nino Muhlach. They've been going out for a couple of weeks. Question now is, will my friend's heart turn into putty (or dare I say ensaimada) and begin a meaningful relationship with Mr. Muhlach-ish?

Single life has been great. Going out with friends, having to report to no one but myself (parents not included as they are immediately mandatory keepers of one's whereabouts.)

Working From Home

I'm still not feeling so good today. I think my general tummy area has not been very happy these past few days. I feel bloated, regardless of the fact that I've not eaten a lot these past few days... ahh... the curse of Eve.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day... Pooo....

The Busy Bee Has Bitten Mee

To make up for all those days of blogging and website updating, I've been as busy as a bee for the past three weeks or so!

First came Agnes's Wedding, which went rather ok. :) No major glitches! Guests could've been more participative in the reception though. But over-all, it was good.

Second was Michelle's Wedding, which over-all was ok, but had the most number of glitches a wedding could possibly have! Haha! Well, a wedding I would plan, at least. :) All major predecessor activities prior to the wedding were performed. I called all the right people, reminded them of all their tasks, responsibilities, and commitments. But as luck (or lack thereof) would have it, the florist was two hours late, the caterer didn't bring any drinking water for the guests, the mobile arrived 15 minutes before all the guests arrived from the church (car trouble), and the bridal car was in a tight fix itself before it arrived at the hotel. Talk about your run-of-the-mill forces of nature!

Third was Work... Accenture work that is. Test script preparation and execution began this week with a vengeance. And to top everthing off, post-Provera-surfing-the-crimson-wave just kicked in. And boy, has it missed my body! Argh! I've been wincing in pain for the last 24 hours. But ironically, I'm glad my p. has come finally. It's just a matter of getting it to go regular.

Oscars this week too. Last Monday. Big hurrahs for Million Dollar Baby. I liked that movie! It was subtle, not trying to be this grandiose, craving for an Oscar type of flick. Very Clint Eastwood. Dark, yet appealing to your raw emotions.

American Idol fever has begun as well. My huge good luck to Constantine. That dude is a rocker! And a charmer! Haha! And he's tall (best feature for moi! :D)

Anyway, that should be all. I better start getting ready for my meeting at 930. Im hitching a ride with Papa today. I plan to be sans automobile until I'm feeling better.
