Oh my... three delinquent weeks! Silence in the blogger area.

Just goes to show how the rigors of work have taken a toll on my blogging juices. Weekends aren't as restful either, as I end up thinking about the workload of the coming week ahead... Talk about stressing over it...

I was once asked if I had stopped dreaming since I joined the A's workforce. My answer? I didn't stop dreaming. I did, however, stop pursuing them. The reason? The lack of energy and drive. the whole week is devoted to 12 hours in the workplace. 3 hours of preparing to go to the workplace, and 9 hours of sleeping, watching TV, and "relaxing". When I do find some "time" to do other things, I'd be to tired to do it, preferring sleep over actually pursuing anything else. It's a vicious cycle, I guess. And a sad way to live out the last 3 years of my life. I need to find time to be more involved in things I want to do. Or well, finally decide what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Arggh.... So many serious musings. Better lay-off the work frustrations.

Next blog, Queer as Folk vs. Sex and the City...

Back to the grind of the IT work machine.

The weekend was pretty good though. We discovered and marvelled at the stores Robinsons Galeria had to offer. Keysi and I arrived at the mall a little after one. Famished and a little light headed we stuffed ourselves silly with Hummus, pita bread, and our grilled delights (grilled chicken for me, and spicy pork tenderloin for keysi).

We met up with the girls after and hoarded the stores. Bought some and lost money, the day ended with a cheesecake ridden dinner at Chef D'Angelo.

I wasn't ready to call it a night just yet. After bringing Keysi home, I met up with Karina and the posse at Greenbelt. I was happy to see Teng there too. Quite reminiscent of our Maan-with-us days. *sigh* I miss that crazy person!

Anyway, 'nuf of the episodic stories.

Thoughts over the weekend :

I attended the Sunday noon mass at BF where the priest shared in his homily "to PUSH - pray until something happens". This blended nicely with my random thoughts last week about having goals and the sense of urgency.

Christmas is truly a magical time for me. I don't mind the Christmas songs playing over the radio at all! I can't wait to do my Christmas shopping. I dunno... I guess there's something about the season which makes people extra nice to one another. I find this a little magical. :)

Anyway, all for today.

This Monday was not so bad either. I got work done... and finished that Spiderman puzzle (Ages 3 and Up, my bum!). Lunch at Sugarhouse and a little malling... A little extraordinary day...

How time flies... when you're surfing the net, listening to your new CD, and talking to your friends about how Tobey Maguire isn't really the spiffy-clean guy you thought he was.

I'm still trying to figure out the reason behind my slacker-ness these past few months. Must be very much related to the non-existence of any goals, long term or short term, as I had mentioned in my previous blog. Was also thinking about a sense of urgency. Like, whenever something feels and IS urgent, meaning it has to be done As soon as possible, I feel more compelled to do it. But when I have an open-ended task in my plate... my oh my... consider the possibilites! Haha.

So happy it's a Friday once again. Tis my favorite day of the week. Begins with a filling breakfast, with a hefty serving of good hearty conversations. Then come the post-breakfast period, where despite the cupful of coffee I just had, the ZzzZzzzZzzzs seem to slither by. Hence the need to find more interesting things... Haha. Then come lunch time. Then post-lunch time.... Then pre-dinner. Hehe! I can't believe I've referenced every part of the day in relation to meals... Eww... so very obvious!

Anyway, I'm just happy the weekend's here. I can't wait to sleep till my back hurts from lying around too much. Good time to relax and catch up on my movie-watching.

Oh well... Not very profound thoughts for today. But thoughts still. :) More later... Apparently, there isn't an urgency in any of my project work, nor is there anything more interesting to do. Hehe.

Friday morning, no rain fallin'
Steal some bacon, share some eggs
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mood that I am in.

Weeee!! I so enjoy these Friday breakfast sessions. Discount the fact that my favorite meal of the day. Today, we went to Dulcinea Greenbelt and I had the American breakfast with scrambled eggs and a hefty serving of crisp bacon. Yummy! Coffee on the side of course. As a finale, Maila and I shared Churros Con Chocolate... Wow... I am sooo ready to hit the sack!

Random thoughts for today... If George Michael says you gotta have faith, Tenten Luna says you gotta have goals. Lately I've been trying to think of the reason behind my slacker lifestyle. Maybe it has something to do with my goals. I don't have any!

Will continue to blog later today...
